What can the floating HUD see?

HUD context · Super Notch · supernotch.ai

Park the floating HUD over the window you are in, then ask about what sits beneath it.

The HUD is another surface for Super Notch's conversation. It uses the same brain as the notch by default. You can give the HUD its own provider and model settings. You can hide it entirely if you would rather stay in the notch.

What the context chip is telling you

The HUD detects the app and window underneath, then uses the context that window actually offers. Supported browsers can expose a URL and accessible page text. Other windows may expose a title, a document location, or a matching coding session.

Look at the context chip. That chip is what Super Notch has in hand. Detection across apps does not mean every app's full content came along. Content access depends on app support and permissions.

Papers and PDFs

If you ask the HUD to explain an arXiv paper, the explanation depends on the text it can reach. A title or an abstract is not the full PDF. Super Notch should name that limit rather than invent the missing pages.
