Super Notch is a Mac utility sold by Austin Dixson, doing business as Super Notch. Contact: hello@supernotch.ai. This page covers the public site, purchases, license activation, and the Mac app.
What this site collects
The storefront and license service run on Railway. Checkout is hosted by Stripe. We have not added an analytics script.
- Purchases and activation. We store your purchase email, Stripe purchase identifiers, license key, seat count, and activated device identifiers and names to deliver and validate your license.
- Hosting logs. Railway and the CDN/DNS in front of the site may log IP addresses and user-agents as ordinary web traffic. We do not use those logs to profile you.
- Third-party assets on the landing page. The home page may load fonts from Google Fonts. That service sees a normal web request.
What we do not collect here
Checkout is handled by Stripe. We do not see your full card number. After payment we store your email, a license key, and which Macs you have activated so we can fulfill and support the purchase.
The Mac app
Sessions, Type, and most Mac actions stay on your machine and talk to tools you already run (Cursor, Claude, Grok, Codex, and the rest). Agents keep their own memory.
Default Talk is Voicebox (PushToType Parakeet speech-to-text → brain → Edge TTS). Hearing and speech do not need an OpenAI Platform key. Answers use Apple Intelligence when your Mac can run it, or a brain you pick — Super Notch does not call OpenAI unless you choose that brain. GPT Realtime is optional in Settings and does need a Platform key — ChatGPT Plus is not enough. If you switch to Realtime, audio leaves your Mac to OpenAI under your key and OpenAI’s terms. We do not receive that audio.
Microphone, Accessibility, and Speech permissions are requested by macOS so Talk, Type, and window actions can work. Screen Recording is only for an optional region screenshot.
Website product guide
The optional bottom-right help chat answers from a curated public Super Notch knowledge base. When you send a question, our server sends it, up to three earlier questions for context, and relevant public help excerpts to NVIDIA NIM to generate an answer. NVIDIA processes these requests under its service terms. Do not send API keys, license keys, payment details, or private work.
The guide cannot see your screen, control your Mac, read private project notes, or access purchase, customer, or admin records. We do not persist chat transcripts on our server. The conversation is held in this browser tab’s memory until you clear it or leave the page. We retain short-lived request counters using a keyed hash of the network address to limit abuse; these counters expire within two days and are cleaned up on subsequent requests. Normal hosting logs may still record request metadata. Cursor tracking is visual only and stays in your browser.
Support email
We use messages you send us to answer questions and support your purchase. We do not sell the mailbox. You can ask us to delete your thread by writing to the same address.
