These terms cover the public site at supernotch.ai and the Super Notch Mac utility. Operator: Austin Dixson, doing business as Super Notch. Contact: hello@supernotch.ai.

Buying Super Notch

Checkout is $20 for the first Mac and $10 for each additional Mac. Payment is processed by Stripe. After payment you receive a license key and a notarized download. You activate the app by pasting that key on the Mac you want to use. Extra seats can be purchased with the same key.

What Super Notch is

A Mac utility: session radar in the notch for agents you already pay for (Cursor, Claude, Grok, Codex, and others). Talk (Right Command) and Type (Right Option) are part of the product. It is not another IDE and not a monthly seat.

• Price: $20 USD once for the first Mac; $10 for each additional Mac.
• Requires: an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later.
• Included: a license key and a signed, notarized customer DMG.

Talk works via Voicebox

Default Talk is Voicebox (PushToType Parakeet → brain → Edge TTS). Hearing and speech do not need an OpenAI Platform key. Answers use Apple Intelligence when your Mac can run it; otherwise you pick a brain. Super Notch will not call OpenAI unless you choose that brain. GPT Realtime is an optional Settings path and needs an OpenAI Platform key — a ChatGPT Plus subscription is not that key. Type defaults to Apple Speech. You also bring your own agent subscriptions. Super Notch does not replace them.

License and use

Use is personal, on Macs you control, unless we write otherwise. Customer builds require activation with your license key, up to the number of Mac seats purchased. Do not redistribute the app as if it were your product. The software is provided as-is; we do not warrant that Talk, Type, or session resume will work with every agent, model, or macOS release.

You are responsible for API keys, agent usage bills, and permissions you grant (Microphone, Accessibility, Speech).

Acceptable use

Do not use Super Notch to break the law, to attack systems you do not own, or to bypass someone else’s product terms. Do not scrape this site for a fake storefront.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Super Notch and Austin Dixson are not liable for lost work, lost agent transcripts, API spend, or incidental damages. If a court requires a cap after we have charged you, it is the amount you paid us for Super Notch in the prior 12 months.
