Site-only day. No app changes.
Visitors but no sales, so the page around Buy got fixed
super-notch #196 merged after four rounds of Clue review. It came out of the conversion diagnosis, after the site got visitors and no sales.
- A 14-day refund, no questions asked.
- A trust line near Buy, and a quiet “14-day no-questions refund” note next to each Buy button.
- The privacy page, rewritten in plain sections: one for website traffic, one for what the Mac app sends. Every claim was checked against the code.
- A new
buy-tracking.jsthat only watches Buy clicks. It doesn't touch checkout. - A hello@ email link, Privacy links on the board and release pages,
/privacy.htmlin the sitemap, and a refunds entry in the help answers.
Clue flagged a hidden RAM placeholder comment in the homepage HTML, and it came out before merge.
Website tests: 119 passed. License server: 39 passed. Buy stayed untouched.
Three ways to talk to Claude Code and Cursor, side by side
super-notch #200 added /guides/claude-code-cursor-dictation-mac. It compares each tool's own voice input, macOS Dictation, and Super Notch Type.
The page copy went through Edit first. Its byline and dates come from git, like the other article pages. Tests: 114 of 114.
The apex DNS fix didn't hold
The bare domain supernotch.ai still uses GoDaddy forwarding, and that only redirects /. Deep paths like /blog/ and /privacy.html on the apex return 404.
The plan was to point the apex A record at Railway, since the server already 301s apex requests to the same path on www.
Railway never verified the domain. The certificate sat in "issuing" for about 25 minutes, and apex HTTPS served the wrong certificate and a 404 the whole time. The original forwarding records went back at 5:44 PM CT.
super-notch #202 is on hold until there's an approach that works.
